Technician Information

For technician accounts, we may also collect:

• EPA 608 certification number
• EPA certification type (I, II, III, Universal)
• Certification issue date
• Photo of EPA certification card (optional)

Refrigerant and Compliance Data

When you use the Service, we collect the data you enter, including:

• Refrigerant cylinder information (type, weight, capacity)
• Truck and equipment assignments
• Refrigerant usage logs (adds, recoveries, transfers, disposals)
• Job numbers and customer references
• Equipment information (model, serial number, location)
• Timestamps for all entries

Usage Data

We automatically collect certain information when you use the Service:

Payment Information

If you subscribe to a paid plan, payment information (credit card numbers, billing address) is collected and processed by our payment processor, Stripe. We do not store your full payment card details on our servers.

• Google Cloud / Firebase: Cloud hosting, database storage, authentication, and file storage

4. Anonymous Shared Equipment Service Ledger

TankHub maintains a shared equipment service ledger that records anonymized refrigerant service data (refrigerant type, amount added or recovered, and date of service) associated with equipment serial numbers. This ledger does not contain any personally identifiable information, company names, technician names, customer information, or pricing data. This anonymous data is accessible to other TankHub users who service the same equipment to support EPA compliance and accurate leak rate tracking.

5. Data Retention

We retain your account information and refrigerant logs for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. Compliance records may be retained for longer periods as required by law or for legitimate business purposes (e.g., audit trails).

After account deletion, we may retain anonymized or aggregated data that cannot identify you for analytical purposes.

6. Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including:

• Encryption of data in transit (TLS/HTTPS)
• Encryption of data at rest
• Secure authentication with Firebase Auth
• Role-based access controls
• Regular security reviews

However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security, and you use the Service at your own risk.

7. Your Rights and Choices

Access and Update

You can access and update your account information through the Service's account settings.

Data Export

You can export your refrigerant logs and compliance data at any time through the Reports section.

Account Deletion

You can request deletion of your account by contacting support@tank-hub.com. We will delete your account and personal information within 30 days, subject to legal retention requirements.

Marketing Communications

You can opt out of marketing emails by clicking the unsubscribe link in any marketing message or by contacting us.

Cookies

We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. We do not currently use advertising or tracking cookies.

8. International Data Transfers
